Unity in prayer and continued blessings in the Lent journey from Sisters retreat

After a long absence due to COVID-19, the Sisters Lenten Day of Reflection took place March 20 at the Oblate Retreat Center and was facilitated by Sister Linda Gibler, OP, Ph.D.

The theme, “Praying with Creation: Lessons from Fire and the Fig Tree” was based on the Scripture readings of the second Sunday of Lent.

“Everyone agreed this was a most inspiring day of reflection to ‘Pray with Creation’ and enjoy the beautiful first day of spring with a contemplative earth walk conversing with God’s beautiful creation all around,” stated Sister Elizabeth Ann Vasquez, SSCJ, director of the Office for Consecrated Life for the archdiocese. “We also extend our deep gratitude to Sister Linda Gibler, OP, for her reflective spirit and insights that will inspire us throughout the remainder of the Lent season.”
