A Deaf Awareness Mass themed, “Building Inclusive Communities for All,” was celebrated by Archbishop Gustavo García-Siller, MSpS, at Our Lady of Sorrows Church on September 25. The liturgy marked the formal establishment of Our Lady of Sorrows as the home parish for the deaf community. This archdiocesan ministry is led by Angela Mauer, director, with support from interpreters, volunteers, and priests.
