Auxiliary Bishop Gary Janak celebrated Mass recently with three transitional deacons from the Czech Republic and several priests of Czech ancestry on April 25 at Holy Trinity Church in Jarrell.
Each year, the Czech American Priest Association (CAPA) sponsors the travel of Czech seminarians to Texas to experience the place where many Czechs immigrated to the United States in the 1800’s.
The priests concelebrating the Mass were from the Archdiocese of San Antonio and the dioceses of Tyler, Austin, and Victoria.
